Through the initiatives of the Rainbow Club, we have been contacted by Webber Wentzel to be the recipients of their leftover foods from their canteens. Food collections are done twice a week and distributed to the neediest in the community. In most cases, this is the first decent meal for many of the recipients and a wonderful change from the usual tinned fish. On behalf of Women of Vision, we would like to sincerely thank Robin who coordinated this and made it possible for us to receive this food. The joy on the faces of those that receive the food is humbling as well as gratifying. Many of us take for granted that we will have a hot cooked meal at the end of the day but for many in the Westbury community, it is like Christmas on various occasions. Thank you to the good Samaritans at Webber Wentzel for donating this beautifully and deliciously prepared food to Women of Vision
