Hyatt Regency Hotel is sharing the joy with Women of Vision this holiday season thanks to a grant to further the organization’s efforts in education. The grant is one of this year’s 26 awarded to non-profits nominated by Hyatt hotels in their communities around the world as part of Hyatt Community Grants, a philanthropic program that empowers Hyatt associates to select local non-profit recipients for charitable donations. Hyatt Community Grants, a key component of Hyatt Thrive – Hyatt’s global corporate responsibility platform – encourages hotels worldwide to identify and nominate local non-profits for funding consideration. The program builds on Hyatt’s belief that no one better understands a community’s most pressing issues – and their solutions – that those that live and work there. Through the Hyatt Community Grants program, the Hyatt Regency Hotel were able to recognize non-profits such as ours, that are committed to addressing the greatest needs in our community. They have been working with us for over a year and they were aware of our desperate situation to ensure that we were able to keep all our children in school and keep our doors open to serve the community. The grant will be used to pay all educational costs associated with the children in the Safe House. This is a huge amount in our budget and we cannot express our sincerest appreciation to the Hyatt Regency Hotel for nominating us and to the Hyatt Community Grants program for awarding us the grant.
